Longview Stables

History

Prior to developing their own training business, Lisa Durbrow and Cyd Shald, both accomplished equestrians from the mid-West, developed the Physical Education program at the San Domenico School in San Anselmo for middle school and high school students. They also formed the San Domenico Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) team, coaching them to the IEA Nationals 4 of the last 5 years. In June, 2014 the mother/daughter team opened their own Longview Stables, continuing their focus on young riders through riding lessons and competition on the hunter-jumper A-Circuit. They also offer educational camps, and summer and after-school programs, as well as continue to coach a successful IEA Team.

We have riding lessons and in-barn leasing for those just starting out, full board and training for your own horse, as well as the contacts and services necessary to find you a horse that fits with your style and budget. Our riding families experience the true benefits of the equestrian sport, making meaningful connections with horses, mentors and each other.
