Little Stars Afterschool Enrichment Program

History

Since my kids went to school, I was aware of the amount of work they have to do at home, the quality of afterschool care when my kids were running around the schoolyard without finishing their homework, and had to eat the food that was in their backpack the whole day, smashed, squashed, and sometimes spoiled. I was at work every day and was too tired to take them to any extra classes, especially since I had to spend at least an hour checking and redoing their homework with them. I am not even talking about any other special mind developing activities. So when I had a chance, I decided to open a business, where kids will be able to experience all of that in a warm and friendly home-like environment. They are loved here and they know and feel it. I started this business about 10 years ago and I remember and love all of the children that have come through my doors. And what is more important, the kids love us, too.

Specialties

This is an after school enrichment program. We pick up the kids from school, feed them homemade meals, make sure they do their homework. We also provide various additional activities, such as dance lessons, and typing classes. We teach them geography and zoology, language development and art appreciation. We do science experiments, and make various trips to parks, museums, art galleries, library and other fun places. When the schools are closed, we are open from 8 am to 7 pm. We're also open during school vacations and during most holidays.
