Little Shop of Ramen started as a pop-up January 2020, and landed in Sugar Pine Cafe serving lunch and dinner a few days a week opposite of Sugar Pine's business hours amidst of a global pandemic in a small tourist-driven town. In January 2021, they secured their own location inside the historic Gold Coin Building on the corner of Highway 140 and 5th Street. It's wonderful location with a great view of Mariposa's down-town hustle and bustle while helping keep alive the historic intrigue of the building. Before the first bowl of ramen was served, Melissa, co-owner with Travis (who manages The Local Grape side of the business), took four years to develop the broth, tare (sauce) and noodle recipes that are the foundation of what is served today.
