Little Explorers Daycare

History

Kimi is a second generation Day Care provider and has over 20 years of experience. She has three children of her own of different ages. Two of her children have gone on to prestigious local high schools and gone on to graduate from College. Her last child is still in high school here in San Mateo County. Her professional career consists of running her own Day Cares, as well as working for the Redwood City School District most recently. Kimi's passion has always been in caring for and teaching young children which is why she founded Little Explorers Day Care.

We believe that children learn through active exploration and play and strive to provide a safe and positive experience for the entire family. Our program is designed to be responsive to the needs of each child. We therefore offer a variety of play-based activities for all ages; some of those activities include story time, circle time, arts & crafts, music and movement.
