HistoryDescartes began as a cosmetics brand, when Founder, Alex Soto, began makeup classes for her makeup clientele. Classes were held at local hair salons and at clients' homes. After mastering a natural makeup approach with a growing clientele, she enrolled in the Esthetics program at Salon Success Academy and began studying skin care. Six months later, Alex was a licensed esthetician and launched Descartes Personal Services, which includes connecting with clients to cater to them in the comfort of their own home, or in various hotels and clubs around downtown Los Angeles.SpecialtiesI offer skin care services, blowouts, and makeup application.
