In 1993, Lisa began doing publicity for her comedy productions (Kung Pao Kosher Comedy: Jewish Comedy on Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant; Funny Girlz: A Smorgasbord of Women Comedians and others) and Charo & Her Las Vegas Show and then branched out into doing freelance PR.
