SpecialtiesAt Thomas Family Childcare Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings. I use a combination of different curriculum in order to keep things fun and exciting for the children. Every month we have themes and woven into the themes we cover colors, letters, numbers, shapes, practice writing, sign language and Spanish. We also read books, sing songs and do art projects that relate to the themes. All of the activities will be modified for babies and toddlers under 3 years old. I have chosen to purchase and use curriculum from FunShine Express for the 2019-2020 year; however, curriculum can change at my discretion. This curriculum is aligned with CA state standards for early education.
