Having practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a traditional clinic setting for 15 years, I've come to believe that much of the care I give is driven by listening carefully to what the patient is sharing and asking the right questions. With a good history about the patient's illness or concerns, a great deal of exceptional care can be delivered without a long wait in the doctors office.
