I would give the library a 4.5 stars if they had longer hours! They have study rooms, computers and great books.

History
In 1859 a Reading Room was created in Lincoln. The room moved a lot and was once housed in the Sandwich Alley building on Fifth. In 1904 the city began supporting the Reading Room with tax funds. In 1906 the first Library Board was established. This first Board's action was to send off an application to Andrew Carnegie for funding a new library. The funding was granted and the Carnegie Library opened 1909. The building was constructed with clay brick from the local Gladding McBean clay factory. The Twelve Bridges Library opened October 20, 2007. The City of Lincoln, Sierra College & Western Placer Unified School District received State Bond grant that provided a large part of the construction costs. This facility is approximately 40,000 square feet and currently holds over 100,000 items. This includes access to books, magazines, national newspapers, DVDs, CDs, and Audiobooks. This facility also has over 30 public access computers.
