History

Founded in 1989 by Hillary Swiggett, Lightship Marine is a division of Boater's Insurance Agency, Inc.; a family owned and operated agency that specializes in providing insurance products and services within the marine industry. We are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, and are licensed in 50 states. The business began small and has evolved into the company it is today by forging strong relationships with some of the finest and most respected marine insurance companies in the industry. They have allowed us to develop innovative and specialized products and coverage's for our clients, a core focus of our agency's mission since day one.
