Lift to Rise

Lift to Rise is a collaborative effort involving over 70 partners, including leaders from the private and public sectors, and community advocates. Together, they are committed to a bold initiative aimed at significantly enhancing housing stability and economic mobility for all residents in the Coachella Valley.

The organization focuses on addressing the pressing issues of affordable housing and livable wages in the region. With a majority of residents spending a significant portion of their income on rent, Lift to Rise advocates for fair wages that allow individuals and families to cover essential expenses like food and healthcare.

Every two years, Lift to Rise, in conjunction with community leaders and more than 75 partners in their Housing Collaborative Action Network, establishes a comprehensive plan known as the 2024–26 Action Plan. This strategic roadmap outlines the collective efforts to combat high rent prices and low wages across the Coachella Valley to foster a more prosperous community.
