LIFESIGNS, Inc. was formed in 1986 as a subsidiary of the Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness, Inc. to have a way to provide 24/7/365 emergency services for the deaf and hard of hearing communities of Southern California. There was a need for the deaf and hard of hearing community to have language access to law enforcement and medical professionals at any time, day or night. It has expanded into the largest ASL interpreting agency in Southern California.
