I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience helping individuals, couples and families to enhance the quality of their relationships. I have been successful in utilizing a combination of theoretical approaches as appropriate for helping clients reach defined individual goals. I utilize the therapist / client relationship as a means of growth, as well as the client's relationships, past and present, with significant others. I believe that everyone has the ability to grow if given an opportunity to be support and encouraged. I work with clients in a warm and empathic style. When needed, I collaborate with the client as appropriate for direct behavior changes using very specific techniques. I also specialize in Sand Tray Therapy for children ages 5 and up. Sand Tray Therapy is a powerful diagnostic tool for the therapist that also allows a child to experience healing in a safe environment.
