She is also a clinical scholar of medicine in the Division of Nephrology. Dr. Caldwell completed her fellowship training in nephrology at Stanford University School of Medicine. During this time, she received an award from the American Kidney Fund to study equitable access to kidney transplants, by examining immunologic matching of patients and donors and affordability of immunosuppressive drugs.
