Established in 1990, the Lesher Center for the Arts offers a variety of arts and entertainment activities. The center presents more than 900 productions and events each year. Its facility features theaters, lobbies and outside areas. The Lesher Center for the Arts offers a variety of recreational activities, including storytelling, costumed character playing, puppet making, and prince and princess walks. The center organizes live music and sword fighting demonstration shows. In addition, it hosts receptions, business meetings, cocktail parties, corporate gatherings and family functions. The Lesher Center for the Arts features educational and outreach programs for low-income families and students. The center operates the Arts Access program, which serves senior citizens with developmental disabilities. It is located in Walnut Creek, Calif.
