Established in 1947, Laurel Hall School is approved by the Church Council of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, and is located in North Hollywood, Calif. It offers academic programs to more than 6,00 students in junior kindergarten through grade eight. It provides special programs, including four to eight grade band and strings, after-school sports and optional extended day. It offers a full summer program with on- and off-campus programs and field trips. It provides fine arts classes in subjects, such as visual arts, drama and music. Its athletic department offers various sport activities, such as basketball, cross country, football, soccer and track and field. The school has a parent-teacher organization and media center.
