Laugh City brings professional headliners from TV and films to Oakland. Enjoy the best comedy in an intimate setting every 4th Saturday and last Tuesday of the month. Showtimes are 7:00. Doors open 30 mins before showtime.
Specialties
Laugh City is the only comedy show in Oakland bringing comedians from HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central and Late Night TV to an intimate setting reminiscent of classic New York comedy clubs. Our shows are every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. See top nationally headlining comedians without having to cross the bridge or pay for parking. Venue is walking distance from both 12th & 19th ST Bart Stations.

Laugh City (known to most as the Layover) was good!!! We had so much fun laughing with the comedians. They have a great full bar, and most important were the comedians and their hosting.

The comedians we saw here were hilarious. I had no idea what to expect but my girlfriend and I randomly bought a table for this event we found. We laughed a lot. Will definitely be coming back....

I've been to two comedy shows at Laugh City and highly recommend it. Hilarious comedy, fun staff and great audiences. Add it to your list before it becomes wildly popular and tix become hard to get.
