Latino Tax Professionals Association

History

Latino Tax Professionals Association was founded by Carlos C. Lopez, EA, MBA in 2007. Mr. Lopez is CEO of Lopez Tax Service, Inc. based in Salinas, California. Mr. Lopez has been in the tax and accounting business since October of 1982. Mr. Lopez holds a Bachelor's Degree from Pacific Union College and a Master's Degree from UCLA. Mr. Lopez passed the IRS Special Enrollment Exam in 1988 and is enrolled to represent taxpayers at all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service. Over the years, several Latino tax and business professionals have strongly urged Mr. Lopez to help organize this growing and important group of Spanish speaking tax professionals into an important community--one that can be heard and felt nationwide. LTPA was organizaed to provide community, knowledge, and professionalism to the largest group of unaffiliated tax professionals in the United States.
