Lake Merced Golf Club is a private, nonprofit social club that provides a range of recreational and social activities. It has golf, tennis and dining facilities. The club offers a range of membership options. Lake Merced Golf Club operates a clubhouse that features the Cypress Bar and the Merced Room. Its locker rooms feature lounge areas for playing cards, watching television and surfing the Internet. The facility provides food and beverage services to golf and tennis players. The Merced Room can accommodate up to 250 people.

Always been a good club with a great membership but the restoration of the golf course has made it great. It's a tough walk, very scenic and has some views. Conditions are generally perfect.

New course looks really bad, they chopped a lot of the beautiful pines, and the green is yellow/brown. Very disappointing. This course was top tier prior to the remodel.
