Really enjoy finding nice places to walk in nature. There was a time when the water level was higher and you could see more bird life among the vast reeds

Found this as one of the things to do when in Escondido, however... it was a bit of confusing getting here. Literally when you get off the highway you are at the location to venture across but...

Trying to get back in shape by walking, jogging or cycling. I pass by this bridge everyday and have been for decades. Finally decided to check it out and see what it's all about. I like that...

The area is beautiful and well maintained. The bridge is cool and something you wouldn't think you'd see in the area. Great hiking/bike riding trails. Nice place. Bring your sunscreen.
