Laguna Creek High School, located in Elk Grove, Calif., is a part of the Elk Grove Unified School District. Established in 1994, it offers a college preparatory curriculum to more than 2,300 students in grades nine through 12. Its courses include English, social studies, mathematics, science, physical education, health education, humanities, computer science and a choice of more than 20 electives. Advanced placement courses are available for students who wish to earn college credit while in high school. Its resources include math, science, computer and graphic arts labs and a library with an integrated media center. It has a school improvement team, comprising teachers, parents and students who develop new goals each year. Laguna Creek High School offers various sports, including basketball, football and volleyball.

Bear Creek High School

Founded in 1991, Bear Creek High School is a comprehensive school with an enrollment of more than 2,700 students. Located in Stockton, Calif., the school serves students from grades nine through 12.
