La Vuelta plays Latin jazz, Cuban and Brazilian music as a trio to a six-piece, featuring the finest Latin musicians of the SF Bay Area. The band's repertoire includes both background music and danceable repertoire featuring piano, bass, drums, and optional percussion, horns/flute and vocals. We are always prompt, impeccably dressed and professional, and our music is sabroso, classy and fresh. Jazz and Latin melodies meet the rhythms of cha cha cha, salsa, bolero, songo, samba and more - think the music of Lecuona, Los Van Van, Tito Puente, Jobim, and much more. (We also play straight ahead jazz and other styles and are happy to mix and match on request) We are available to travel within 3 hours of the Bay Area. References available on request.
