History

We are a family owned traditional Mexican style restaurant giving El Monte a taste of home-cooked Mexican food, we were previously known as Tacos Don Chente, we recently changed our name to bring our name of traditional Mexican food to the colorful city of El Monte California.

Specialties

Our Restaurant Specialties include home-made traditional Mexican soups such as: Caldo de Pollo(Chicken) & Res(Beef), Pozole, Menudo, Carne en su Jugo also including our house Specialty our Molecajte which serves 2-3 and includes: Beef, Chicken, Chorizo, Nopales, Queso and grilled onions served with rice & beans. Also try our Aquas Frescas made only from natural ingredients, flavors come in: Horchata, Jamica, Melon, Fresa, Tamarindo, Limon con Chia, Pepino con Limon, Sandia, and Pina.
