La Scuola International School - East Palo Alto

History

La Scuola International School is excited to announce the expansion of its unique blend of Reggio Emilia, language immersion, and International Baccalaureate program with the opening of La Scuola Peninsula, a Preschool Early Childhood campus in East Palo Alto. La Scuola Peninsula will open with preschool classes in January 2022, and continue to expand through Grade 8. La Scuola has signed a five-year lease with the Ravenswood School District to occupy three buildings, previously leased by The Primary School, located at 2086 Clarke Ave, East Palo Alto. The launch and the development of this campus are made possible through the gifts of a generous donor and friend of La Scuola, who wishes to remain anonymous. La Scuola International School has been in operation since 2002, and opened its doors to our beautiful San Francisco Alamo Square campus in August of 2014. Prior to that, the Kindergarten and Primary Classes were hosted at our Preschool campus in the Dogpatch.

Our mission is to inspire brave learners to shape the future. We empower children to develop a life-long love of learning and become world citizens who care about their local and global communities. Our Curriculum is a Reggio Emilia inspired approach to learning. We are an academically strong school with an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme as well as an Italian Immersion School.
