La Cumbre Junior High School

Founded in 1928, La Cumbre Junior High School is a part of the Santa Barbara School District. The school provides educational services to students in grades six through eight. Its general academic curriculum includes language arts, math, science and social studies. It provides special education classes for gifted and talented students. La Cumbre Junior High School offers the English Language Learners program. The school also conducts classes in industrial technology and video production. It offers a variety of activities, such as art, music, theater, and physical and technical education. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher association that organizes fundraising activities and special events.
