History
Our business opened in 2001, storied past and bright futures. It's been able to develop its own character less than a mile away from the Staples Center. Expanded with a 2nd restaurant north of Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley under the name El Comandante.
Specialties
Family-style restaurant, incredible atmosphere, authentic Nicaraguan food! Great for all occasions and the atmosphere comes from the guests, their conversation and the traditional Nicaraguan artwork. Known for our Fritanga--a trio of meats, beef, pork and chorizo--which is accompanied by it's gallo pinto, plantains, and cheese.
