Our first restaurant opened in Marina Del Rey in 1979, followed by our Los Angeles location on Wilshire, which has since moved to West 6th Street and Catalina. Our Sherman Oaks location was opened in 1991 and closed in 2007. We now have 2 California locations in Los Angeles: 3407 W. 6th Street and 4001 Wilshire Blvd.

Kuishimbo Restaurant specializes in authentic Japanese Char-broil and Teppan dishes. We pride ourselves in using high quality ingredients and meat to create delicious entrees for you, friends, and family. We have several entrees that range from short ribs, chicken karaage, salmon, teppan squid, chicken teriyaki, teppan shrimp, tonkatsu, and more! Most items include rice and salad. We also have numerous delicious sauces that are made in our restaurant! Come try us, we're located at the heart of Koreatown. Parking can be found in rear!

This Postmates order has my order entirely wrong. I got the short ribs with rice and salad instead but the ribs were chewy and very charred! Salad was ok too. Taste was ok but not great....

Love love their Yakiniku & Chicken! Healthy option somes with salad and white rice from rice cooker. Gets busy around lunch time. Sitting outside is usually quieter. Staff is always friendly!
