The Center of Excellence in Education offers classroom training at the Center ( located CEE Chico, CA and Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, CA ), or CEE will travel to your healthcare or community location. Courses are contracted for the convenience of your office, your staff and your preferred destination. Let CEE provide customized, on-site education as a cost effective way to improve patient outcomes in your community. The CEE is an accredited provider of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit ( s ) through the California Medical Association/Institute of Medical Quality ( CMA/IMQ ). Additionally, we offer California Board of Registered Nursing and pre-hospital EMT-P continuing education. As an American Heart Association Training Center for over eleven years, CEE provides ACLS, ACLS-EP, ACLS for the Terrified, PALS, BLS, NRP, First Aid and various levels of CPR. Let us bring these AHA courses to you. CEE offers initial AHA courses to healthcare providers and community new students or those whose cards have expired. The Planning Division is managed by the Department of Resource Management. The division is responsible for the maintenance and implementation of the county general and zone plans. It disseminates information regarding potential development areas for residential, commercial, industrial, and resource development and management to the public. The Planning Division also processes development applications. The division permits requests for land divisions, general plan amendments, zone changes and variances. In addition, it manages a mapping unit that maintains and implements the county street naming and addressing system. The Planning Division administers the Integrated Land Use/Air Quality Program, which addresses the development of strategies for air quality impacts.
