King Taco, established in 1974, originated from a converted ice cream truck by Don Raúl and Doña Lupe. Originally stationed next to an East LA bar, their taco truck quickly gained popularity. I ordered a chicken tamale but it had very little to no chicken. The 2 carne asada tacos shells were thick and dry. I don't remember the food being horrible.
