Welcome to King Harbor Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering youth sailing since 1982. Located in Redondo Beach at the King Harbor Yacht Club, we offer year-round sailing instruction for all skill levels, team racing coaching, and support for local High School race teams.
As a US Sailing Accredited Sailing School, our certified coaches ensure a safe boating education experience. Our programs instill confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills in youth, preparing them for a successful future. Many of our sailors progress to become junior coaches, collegiate sailors, and international competitors.
Our sailing programs cater to youth aged 7-18, offering Learn To Sail classes, club race teams, and opportunities for High School Sailing. KHYF also provides scholarships, community outreach initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and adult boat charters through Sail Away Boat Charters. Join us at our annual Open House fundraiser to learn more and support our mission!
