King-Chavez Public Schools is organized as a single 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) public benefit non-profit corporation. The non-profit corporation's Board acts as the corporate governing body over separate corporate divisions or departments, one for each charter school. We believe this organizational model best provides for close and cohesive relationships between its schools reducing the burdens on each school. Student learning can remain the primary goal and Principals can assume their roles as instructional leaders. King/Chavez elected to have a single board governing all of its schools, with each school having a unique County District State ( CDS ) Code, treasury account, budget and test scores. The California Department of Education describes this type of organization as a "Charter Network Operator" .

Sorry to say this is less of a school, more of a babysitting service. Extremely low test results. Extremely high turnover of staff and faculty. Advertised as a free charter school, you get exactly...
