Kijani Grows

History

The urge for addressing food insecurity and ecological problems came after a trip to Kenya. My friend Keba and I started Kijiji Grows a social change organization that transitioned to Kijani Grows which uses technology to solve basic human problems such as lack of access to fresh food and education.

Specialties

We are a farming technology company in Oakland. We teach classes on how to build smart aquaponics gardens. We believe aquaponic gardening improves lives in urban communities by using tradition concepts, local materials and modern technology.
