Marina Children's Center

Based in San Francisco, Calif., Marina Children s Center is a play-based preschool, specializing in language and literacy, science, math and art. Its program incorporates the developmental theories of Piaget, Montessori, Vygotsky, and Erickson, among others and the curriculum includes activities designed to develop cognitive, social, physical and emotional skills. Additionally, Marina Children s Center provides group activities, curriculum activities and free play. It involves children in the younger group in activities which teach the alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes, among others.
