Kevin Rockwood Photography

History

Studied art and design at the Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles and began taking images with my Nikon to capture what I saw on my travels around the world as a model while on break. While working I began watching and learning from some of the best fashion photographers in the world and decided to start my own photography business in Los Angeles shooting for some of the most prestigious modeling agencies in the country. Decided to return to school at UCLA to study design and computer graphics and upon graduation began working for the print conglomerate, Primedia Inc. in their Action Sport division. As the art director of Volleyball Magazine I was able to continue to hone my photography skills and learn from one of the best sports photographers in the country - Peter Brouillet. In 2004 I was hired as a Retail Graphic Designer for the surf giant Billabong in Irvine, CA where I was able to carry on with my photography, shooting architectural interiors in North America.
