I have been preparing taxes in the San Diego area for over 15 years. I started working with a small, local CPA firm and found the experience of helping other people in a smaller setting to be very rewarding. I have also worked for several startups since, but ultimately decided I enjoyed the variety and challenge involved in public accounting, as well as it being a good opportunity and a chance to work for myself and select my hours, workload and clientele. I love the San Diego area and couldn't imagine living anywhere else and plan on practicing accounting here for several decades to come.
