I picked up my first guitar when I was 13, and I have not looked back since. My passion for music has only grown over the past two decades, and I'm excited to share it with you!

Helping people light their fire for music, one private lesson at a time! I've been playing and teaching guitar professionally for 21 years, and it's never felt like a job to me. Practice music that you love and that fits your musical taste! So many teachers have their students play music that they don't care about, but that's the fastest way to kill a student's passion and drive to keep practicing. With each of my students, I tailor a customized lesson plan based on what their interests and curiosities are so that they'll master the fundamentals and be able to play the music they love at the same time. Over the years, I've studied and specialized in a wide variety of guitar styles: Jazz, Classical, Metal, Funk, Spanish, Latin American, Folk, Singer-songwriter, and more! I offer in-studio, private guitar lessons in Concord, and also private guitar lessons in the comfort your home from Clayton, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Lafayette, Alamo, and Danville. I also have online guitar lessons via Skype, Google Hangouts, and FaceTime.
