Kathleen Horst, MD

Allyson Spence MD, PhD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Stanford University School of Medicine. She received her MD, PhD in the MSTP program at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, studying basic mechanisms of transcription using Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a model system in the laboratory of Dr. Tony Weil. She went on to an internship and residency at the University of Pennsylvania before returning to Stanford to complete her Oncology fellowship training. She did a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford in the department of Molecular Biology under the auspices of Dr. Margaret Fuller, where she was the recipient of a career award.

Dr. Melinda Telli is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Medical Oncology at Stanford University School of Medicine, Director of the Breast Cancer Program at the Stanford Cancer Institute and Associate Director of the Stanford Women's Cancer Center. Dr. Telli’s research focuses on the development of novel therapies for the treatment of triple-negative and hereditary cancer. Her work has focused on the validation of homologous recombination deficiency biomarkers to help identify patients with sporadic triple-negative breast cancer that may specifically derive benefit from DNA repair defect-targeted therapies.

Dr. May Chen specializes in medical oncology with expertise in treating gastrointestinal and women’s cancers. Her interests include cancer genetics and genomics, using the latest advances to treat complicated diseases. Dr. Chen is skilled in caring for advanced cancer patients, including managing complications from advanced disease, side effects, and using integrative modalities to enhance the cancer patient experience.
