"Committed to compassionate care in women's health and wellness"Dr. Katherine Lee grew up in Southern California in San Marino. She attended college at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She then went to the University of California, Irvine where she received an M.S. in biomedical engineering. She received her medical degree from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Wisconsin, in Madison, Wisconsin.Dr. Lee's philosophy is to provide women with the knowledge to make informed healthcare decisions and to help them meet their goals and needs. She is excited to share that journey with her patients and to care for them in all the various stages of life. Her interests include general obstetrics, contraception management, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her husband and son, playing tennis, biking, yoga, playing the piano, and traveling. Dr. Lee's grandfather was an obstetrician-gynecologist in Taiwan, and she feels honored to carry forward the tradition of caring for the women in Orange County.

She went on to complete her OB/GYN residency at Northwestern University in 2005. There she was recognized for excellence in resident teaching, research and compassionate patient care.Dr. Johnson and her family have made San Clemente their home. Dr. Johnson provides excellent patient care to the residents of her community and she enjoys contributing to the growth of the Talega office.
