Karin A. Nielsen, MD

Dr. Ramsey specializes in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at UCLA. She originally moved from Texas to complete her medical training here at UCLA and has since stayed on as faculty focusing on advanced lung diseases. She is a member of the UCLA Lung Transplant Program and helps to evaluate and optimize patients before and after their lung transplant. When she is not in the lung transplant clinic, she attends the weekly UCLA Interstitial Lung Disease clinic seeing patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, autoimmune-related lung diseases, sarcoidosis, and hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
