Kariktan Dance Co

KARIKTAN Dance Company is a nonprofit cultural organization based in Concord, California, dedicated to promoting Philippine culture through dance and music. With a current membership of 20 young adults aged 16 to 40, the company provides Filipino-Americans an opportunity to connect with their heritage while developing social skills and confidence through traditional performances.

Founded by Polly Manalo-Herrera, a former dancer of the Bayanihan Philippine Dance Company, KARIKTAN has gained recognition as one of the Bay Area's premier dance troupes. Artistic and cultural leadership from experienced directors, including Robbie Herrera and Stephanie Herrera, ensures the continuation of authentic Filipino traditions while engaging the community through performances at various prestigious venues.
