History

Our urban farm is family run and family inspired. Jason, Hanh, and their two children, Kimberly and Eric love to garden and share good food with our community. KARE FARMS is a urban micro-scale farm that is as local as it gets. Micro-scale farming using organic techniques and OMRI-listed inputs means we never use chemical pesticides or fertilizers, no GMO or treated seeds. What we grow we eat and we hope you will too! We operate our urban farm at our home in Serra Mesa, so we are not open to the public, but accept visitors by appointment generally on the weekends.

Specialties

KARE FARMS produces organic and heirloom vegetables, fruits, and herbs at our urban farm in the Serra Mesa community in the city of San Diego, California. We specialize in organic lettuces, Asian greens, and seasonal produce including heirloom tomatoes, peppers, and berries. We also produce organic potted plants so our customers have the highest quality organic and heirloom plants for their gardens.
