Established in 1994, Monarch HealthCare is a medical group that is responsible for disease management, health education, and quality improvement programs. It also handles internal performance monitoring, education programs and patient-friendly policies and procedures. The group is comprised of more than 1,500 doctors in independent practice. Monarch HealthCare assists in conducting annual advertising campaigns and physician-specific marketing programs that are designed to help increase enrollment. It also offers custom marketing materials, including physician bio-cards and practice Web sites. It supports Practice Connect, which is a simplified online system that helps physician practices to operate more efficiently by streamlining and consolidating several cumbersome administrative processes. The group operates over 15 hospitals, nearly 25 urgent care facilities and approximately 30 lab service centers. Monarch HealthCare is located in Irvine, Calif.
