History

K Taekwondo was founded by Grandmaster Jin Ki Lim in 1992. The first studio was opened in Glendale and the JK family have spread out all across the globe to continue the teachings of the world champion, Grandmaster Jin Ki Lim. K Taekwondo strives to be more than just a martial arts school. We focus on discipline and physical fitness as well as teaching the knowledge and understanding of Korean martial arts. Additionally, the facility teaches young children and adults: discipline, respect, proper goal-setting, and self-defense. It's also proven to be a mental stress reliever. We offer a family-oriented community and we also create a community for folks who don't have one yet. A martial arts community in which students of any age can reach their fullest potential. K Tae Kwon Do Academy instills our students the concepts of respect, focus, and discipline to help them become champions in life. Our classes are catered to help students develop healthy lifestyle through the Korean martial art form we know as Tae Kwon Do. Our K Tae Kwon Do staff members are patient with students and motivated to help students reach their goals.
