History

Starting with in-home pet sitting, K-9 Fitness & Training has expanded based on a very large hole in the market - doing things right! Founder Lindsey Gallagher, learned what NOT to do by the mistakes of several other trainers and daycares. What makes us successful is the morale we hold ourselves to, when providing service for our clients and their dogs. With a limit of 4 dogs per attendant, and thorough training on understanding behavior and common emergencies (dog escapes, off leash aggressive strays, instigation of fights...) our staff at K-9 Fitnees & Training takes animal care to an incredible new standard to have the best safety, security and comfort for your animal. Our business is not about how many dogs we can attain to profit, it's about bringing our canines back to a calm and balanced mindset so we can finally Enjoy Life Together.

Specialties

K9Training offers effective behavior based training methods. Our specialties include Reactivity training and Obedience, Aggressive behaviors and anxiety/fear response. K9Fitness is a fun and safe alternative to large corporate boarding and walking programs that treat your dogs like livestock and not family members. We believe that calm well behaved dogs is the safest and most enjoyable way to interact with your companion.
