Dr. David Shin attended medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed internal medicine residency at University of Massachusetts and fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. He treats benign and malignant conditions of hematology as well as various cancers. Dr. Hakimian graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in molecular, cell, and developmental biology and a minor in biomedical research. He earned his medical degree at Tufts University in Boston.
