History

I completed my birth doula training in March 2012. Before I received formal training I attended several births of close family and friends. Since my training I have worked with families at hospitals, home births, and birthing centers all over southern California. Began my midwifery journey at Midwives College of Utah in 2018. I am committed to consistently continuing my education, training and experience. In 2020 I became a doula trainer with Doula Training International (DTI). Specialties

I've been a certified Birth Doula since 2012. I support families by providing continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the birthing parent & family before, during and just after the birth. My mission as a Doula is to compassionately assist parents with obtaining the knowledge necessary to ensure a safe, comfortable, and joyous birthing experience. How I Supports Families: I am a professional birth Doula and childbirth educator that assists the birthing person & family with information to prepare for the baby and birth in order to eliminate fear. During labor I also help families communicate & understand the medical professionals. I provide physical support to assist in comfort during the birth experience. My goal is to help families get prepared by sharing knowledge and resources for the prenatal period, for the labor & birth experience, and postpartum period.
