History

I have been teaching piano privately for the past several years. I am also a church music director. I enjoy conducting choir, orchestra, and bell groups at my church.

Specialties

Engaging and pedagogically sound online piano lessons for ages 6-18. Along with the Faber Piano Adventures books, I teach classical repertoire, technique, ear training, sight reading, and music theory for a comprehensive musical education. I have diplomas in piano performance and piano pedagogy from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). I am happy to prepare students for these exams if they are interested. For beginners, I recommend 30 minute lessons once a week at $25. I currently teach virtual lessons to 45 students. These lessons have proved successful and my students have made excellent progress. I host virtual recitals twice a year. I enjoy playing piano and organ at my church as well as conducting choir, orchestra, and bell groups. I also run an international virtual choir and orchestra.
