Located in Elk Grove, Calif., Joseph Kerr Middle School is a public school that is administered by the Elk Grove Unified School District. The school teaches a variety of subjects, such as English, math, social studies, science, language arts and history. Its facilities include over 45 classrooms, computer laboratories, a multipurpose room, auditorium, cafeteria, library and media center and sports field. The school has a staff of nearly 50 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes an academic guidance counselor, parent liaison and library media teacher. Established in 1965, Joseph Kerr Middle School has an annual enrollment of more than 1,000 students in seventh and eighth grades.
