HistoryNapa Valley Podiatry Group was established in 1977 by Dr. William Todd, after graduating from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. He had been practicing in the Napa Valley for 37 years when it had become his time to retire and sell his practice to a successor in 2014. His successor would become Dr. Sky P. Shanks, from San Francisco, California. Dr. Shanks is a foot and ankle surgeon who takes great pride in caring for her patients, placing their quality of life and quick return to activity of utmost importance. She treats many common pathologies of the lower extremity such as bunions, hammertoes, ingrown nails, plantar fasciitis, ankle sprains, Achilles tendonitis, and fractures. Dr. Shanks is excited to have become a member of the Napa Valley community and to serve those in need of a consultation by a foot and ankle specialist. She has expanded her practice to Solano County as well by joining Dr. Denten Eldredge in his Vallejo practice.
