Not unlike the modern corporate ladder, my first step into photography started as an assistant. I held lights, I watched bags. I watched, and learned. For 3 years I absorbed what weddings were all about and how the photographer fits into all of it. The truth is, the photographer not only captures the moment, he tells a story. He creates art, he hustles to reinvent moments that happen time and time again. When I decided to pick up the camera, it was like putting all the pieces together. I had the tutelage and I had the equipment.
